Dr. Luginbill’s work, The Theology of God, treats basically the essence of God and the Persons of the Trinity. Although he only deals with these two issues technically, I have included a lot of appendices which come from emails he received and answered.

John Owen – Decay of Spiritual Affections is a 12 page sermon apparently from a larger book of sermons (starts on page 250+).
Robert Shaw’s short 1 chapter work on God and the Holy Trinity is an excellent collection of observations and verses that defend the Trinity.

Davison, W.T. – The Indwelling Spirit is a 1911 work with 16 chapters on the indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Gifts, Fruit, prayer, tides, plenitude, spirit of Truth, etc.
Our God by Octavius Winslow is a 10 chapter look at some of the characteristics of God himself. Love, Hope, Patience, Comfort, Grace, Holiness, peace, Light, etc.

A Christian Library by John Wesley – Part1 is a very large library of Wesleyan view works, consisting of 16 volumes of works in this single module.
In this 8 Chapter work, Torrey presents us with the Divine names, attributes, and offices that are applied to Jesus. Other chapters are the equivalence of Jesus and Jehovah, the linkage between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Worship to be given to the Son, and incidental proofs.
The Dispensation of the Holy Spirit is a four chapter devotional work examines the dispensation of the Holy Spirit, about various topics dealing with the Holy Spirit.
The Guided life by George Body is a shorter 5 chapter work looking at the Holy Spirit guiding us by the way of contrition, then Sanctity, then Ministry, and finally by the way of Patience.
In Smith Wigglesworth, a Pentecostal author, he presents us with elements which increase our faith. Note that this author is a famous “father” of the name-it and claim-it Prosperity Gospel. While I personally do not endorse this position, his work is included for research purposes. How to grow our faith is the issue here, and while not everything he presents may be correct, there are ideas here that one has to evaluate to see if they have some validity.
