THE GREAT JOURNEY
A Pilgrimage through the Valley
of Tears to Mount Zion, the city
of the living God
By John MacDuff, 1855.
“He spoke many things unto them in parables.”
Comments on the Great Journey
As there are infinite varieties of Christian experience,
so there is a propriety in narrating the great story of the
Christian’s pilgrimage in different forms. Those who have
read Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress” will find MacDuff’s 50 page
allegory no copy, but a spirited example of the same style.
