General Use Questions 1. How do I set the Default Bible Version? There are a few ways to do this. First of all, select the Bible version you want to make the default in the Bible Window, then open Bible Options (Ctrl+O) and click on the set as default option.
Another way to set the default Bible is by going to File -> Preferences -> TAB: Bible Texts, selecting the desired Bible version, and click on the "Set as default" button at the bottom right hand corner of the dialog box.
Tips and Tricks 1. How do I insert a Bible verse into Microsoft Word document? With TW open in the background: 1. Write the verse in MS Word (e.g. type John 1:1) 2. Select the John 1:1 and press CTRL+C to copy to clipboard. The Clipboard monitor window appears 3. Press CTRL+ALT+V: this will change the clipboard text to the actual verse text 4. Press CTRL+V to now paste this verse into MS Word. 2. How do make TW show Bible texts in a popup window (in other programs)? With TW open in the background: 1. Copy to Windows clipboard the Bible reference (select it, press control C). If this doesn't work, you may have the Clipboard monitoring temporarily disabled. To check this, Open File (Main Menu), and then Preferences. You should see this popup. The last line of this dialog box says "Disable clipboard monitoring". If it is checked, uncheck it. Try again.

I want a book in TWM format. Can you format it for me? Maybe. I do not format books that are under copyright, unless you have the copyright, or you have permission from the copyright owner. If you find a book you want in TWM format, then send me the name, title, URL if possible, and I will examine that to see if I can format it for you. If I do, I will make it available to all. Please note that I am a full time pastor and missionary, and I am very busy. Answering help questions for these Bible programs means answering sometime 4-8 emails per day. Also remember that I always give preference to those people who have or are donating regularly to me, and then to those who donate occasionally, and to the rest who don't donate but want me to invest my time in their interests, as I have time. I don't format a lot or complicated books (like a lot of structure of sections and chapters) for things that I consider unprofitable (like Ellen White's writings, Platos writings, etc.). I just don't have the time nor interest, you do it yourself. |
